Living Earth Uganda (LEU)’s staff in Cameroon, Douala visiting us as part of the Waste to Wealth project which is also being implemented in Uganda. LEU’s staff accompanies with few SMEs W2W project beneficiaries in Uganda. They are meeting with us, our SME leaders and local authorities to:
- share experiences with the FCTV’s staff;
- share with local authorities in Cameroon the Ugandan experience of how local governments operate;
- learn on and know how local authorities work with SMEs and whether the LAs support SME initiatives through small grant funds and other forms of support; if any
- find out the impact of local government training on Local Authority relationship with SMEs, especially in terms of monitoring of the SME projects.
