FCTV supplied sanitation equipment to resident committees from targeted councils

In June 2014, FCTV supplied 23 resident committees and two special interest groups (disabled associations) from Douala 2, 3 and 4 with sanitation equipment to regularly carry out sanitation services as stated on the recommendations made by them to our probationers (action plans).

These equipment have been handed out to these groups (resident commitees and special interest groups)  during launching events organised accordingly where local authorities were present to engage councils in monitoring and following sanitation activities that will be done by the groups.

This has been done as part of the ongoing Waste to Wealth project, following field consultations and awareness raising campaigns and trainings.

Now, resident committees together with their communities and authorities will work to clean-up their living areas whilst ensuring a clean environment to their citizens.
